Carolina, along with her colleagues David Huynh and Jonathan Castanien, founded The Sống Collective, a New York City-based initiative that aims to amplify the voices of those from the Vietnamese diaspora and provide creative spaces for artists of color to create powerful stories that redefine what it means to be American.

For their inaugural event. they staged a reading of VIETGONE by Qui Nguyen with an all-Viet cast, and raised over $900 for the NNIRR.


Carolina also shot a national commercial for Book of the Month, airing soon!

QUEENS just won BEST COMEDY PILOT at the Omni Cultural Fest in LA. The pilot was screen at the famed Egyptian Theatre.

Carolina collaborated with Sam Chanse, Charles Quittner, and Allison Buck to present a section of Chanse' new play, what you are now, as part of Loading Dock Theatre's Forklift Sampler Series. This play is being developed and will be workshopped in the fall of 2019.

"Cutting-edge neuroscience commingles with ancient culture in this compelling family drama as we watch Pia, a neuroscience postdoc, research how the brain copes with pain even as she tries to come to terms with the traumatic events of her family’s past."
